Hillsong Conference Europe Terms & Conditions for Online Registration

BY USING OUR WEBSITE, YOU AGREE TO COMPLY WITH AND BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS.

By registering for the Hillsong Conference Europe, on this website, you enter into a legally binding contract with Hillsong Church London, a UK not for profit company, limited by guarantee, (No: 5487537) (“Hillsong”) which you agree will be governed by these terms and conditions.

1. Website Use and Electronic Communications

a) Hillsong may change, suspend or terminate the website at any time without liability or notice. We may also restrict your access to sections or the entire website without liability or notice. You agree to use our website only for lawful purposes, and in a manner which does not infringe the rights of, or restrict or inhibit the use and enjoyment of our website by any third party. In particular, you must not attempt to interfere with the proper working of our website. When you visit the site or send e-mails to us, you are communicating with us electronically. You consent to receive communications from us electronically. We will communicate with you by e-mail or by posting notices on this site. You agree that all communications we provide to you electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.

2. Intellectual Property

Our website, whether in part, or as a whole and all associated content, is protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights which are either owned by Hillsong, or it is licensed to use.

You may not disseminate or otherwise use the content of our website or any associated content for commercial purposes or any other purpose. All rights in any trademarks (whether registered or unregistered) or service marks, including logos, appearing on our website are owned by Hillsong or used with the permission of the owners. Nothing on our website shall be construed as granting any license or right to use any trade mark, service mark or logo for any purpose whatsoever.

3. Your Status and Website Registration

By placing an order through our website you confirm to Hillsong that: • You are over 18 years of age • Are able legally to enter into a binding contract • You have completed the registration procedure • You must ensure that the details you provide during the registration process are complete and correct. You are also obliged immediately to inform us of any changes to the details you have provided to us during the registration process by updating the information through our website. Hillsong is not responsible for any loss or damage you suffer as a result of your failure to provide us with correct and up-to-date information.

4. Contract Formation

a.          YOUR REGISTRATION DOES NOT BY ITSELF COMPLETE A CONTRACT WITH HILLSONG. In registering through our website you make an offer to Hillsong. A binding contract will only be formed once we have accepted your offer. Hillsong may decline to accept an offer for any reason whatsoever (including, but not limited to, inability to take payment from you), and will have no liability in respect of refusing, or otherwise failing, to accept an offer.

b.          After you register with us and make appropriate payment, you will receive an e-mail confirming your registration and notifying you that payment for your registration has been taken. At this point there is a contract between us.

5. Prices and Payment

a.          Registration on our website must be made through one of our chosen payment services providers. In order to make a payment through one of these providers, you will need a credit, debit card or a PayPal account. From time to time, we may change the providers through whom we will accept payments. If we do so, we will update the list of providers accordingly.

b.        When a credit or debit card is added as a payment method during the checkout process before the registration is accepted, a pre-authorization for the full amount of the registration will take place against the credit or debit card. At this point Hillsong has not taken payment. This is a check, to ensure that the credit or debit card will allow the full payment to be taken when the order is placed. Only once authorized, is payment taken by Hillsong.

c.         In the event your credit or debit card is declined we will email to advise that registration has not been completed.

6. Cancelling your Registration and Refunds

a.          In accordance with the European Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations, EU conference registrations on this website are subject to a "cooling off period" within which you have the right to cancel your contract with Hillsong and receive a full refund. The cooling off period runs for 7 working days from the date Hillsong takes payment and confirms your registration (a working day is any day which is not a Saturday, Sunday or Bank Holiday in the United Kingdom).

b.          In addition to the above statutory right we also give the right to cancel or transfer registration (subject to availability) by writing to the Hillsong Conference Office before 3rd August 2012. Except for cancellations made during the cooling of period

          1. A fee of £60 per person applies to cancellations made before this date.

          2. No refunds will be made after this date. Before 3rd August 2012 you may, once only, transfer your registration (other than registrations at the Conference Special Rate) to another person providing it has been fully paid, or to the following year at no extra cost. Transfers after 3rd August 2012 will incur a £60 fee. Please note that refunds are not available for transferred registrations. From time to time there may be a need for special consideration of your circumstances in regards to this policy. If this is the case, please contact the Hillsong Conference Office. Your registration and payment confirm that you have accepted this policy.

c.          Refund of monies will occur by the same method that was used to make the payment. We aim to process any refunds as soon as possible after cancellation and will make any appropriate refunds within 30 days notice of cancellation is received.

7. Visas

If you require assistance with a visa to attend the conference, please contact the conference office in writing by 3rd August 2012. No assistance can be provided after this date. Should your visa application be declined, Hillsong does not accept any responsibility for any losses incurred, including, but not limited to, refund of your conference registration, flights and/or accommodating booked for the conference. Your can however, transfer your registration to the following year or to another person.

8. Disclaimers

Hillsong Conference Europe will contain live music, strobe lighting and other live special effects. If these can potentially act as triggers to any type of medical condition then please contact us before attending the conference. The conference will be captured in both photographs and video. Hillsong reserves the right to use this material for promotional purposes and/or sale of products. Hillsong also reserve the right to change any of the published event details without any notice, and has the final say on any matter relating to the event. Hillsong recommends that you confirm your registration with its office prior to booking any flights &/or accommodation and obtain travel insurance. The Hillsong Conference Office does not accept any responsibility for losses incurred for flights &/or accommodation booked for the conference.

9. Group Registrations

Group bookings are required to provide full details for each group member by the 3rd August 2012. Those registrations without full details will be considered invalid.

10. Seating

Prior to the issue of tickets it will be determined whether seating at the conference will be specifically allocated. If you require special seating for medical reasons or require another registered delegate as a carer or friend to accompany you please put your request in writing, with supporting documentation, by 3rd August 2012.

12. Privacy Policy

We will only use the personal data that you provide in accordance our Privacy Policy, which can be viewed through the link below. We may use information provided to notify you of news at Hillsong and only provide it to third parties who help us provide services to you. 13. Our Liability

Hillsong assumes no liability and shall not be responsible for viruses or any other disabling features that affect your computer as a result of using our website, nor for any delays or failures you may experience in connection with, nor any modification, suspension or termination of our website

14. Transfer of Rights and Obligations

This is an agreement between you and Hillsong. Subject to the rights granted at 6.b above you may not transfer, assign or charge any of the rights and obligations that you undertake within this agreement without our prior written consent and no third party can enforce any of the contractual rights herein. Hillsong may transfer, or assign any of the rights and obligations that it undertakes within this agreement without any notice or further liability to you.

15. Law & Jurisdiction

These terms and conditions are governed by English Law. Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms and Conditions shall be resolved before the courts of England.

16. Right to vary these terms and conditions

We have the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time without any prior notice or liability.
